My Story

The Journey That Led Me Here

‘You're such a whirlwind!’

People said it so often, I started believing it was just who I was. It turns out it was ADHD. And finding that out was a total game-changer.

For years, I thought, just try harder. Be more focused. More organised. More like everyone else. From the outside, I looked like I had it together. But inside, I always felt too much – yet never enough.

That year I had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome at sixteen? It wasn't mysterious at all. I understand now it was ADHD burnout - my body literally gave out from years of trying to fit a mould I was never meant to fit.

Now I get it

It took me years to realise I didn't need to work harder. I needed to work differently.

My mantra these days?

     ‘If nothing changes, nothing changes.’

Everything shifted when I finally learned to work with my ADHD instead of against it. It was then I stopped chasing everyone else's version of success, what I should be like and built a life that actually works for me.

Driven by curiosity and creativity, my ADHD helped me complete a media degree and a career producing TV cookery shows. I worked with incredible people like Nigella Lawson, Stanley Tucci, Jamie Dornan and Sir Paul McCartney.

I met my husband on set. He's a cameraman and the calmest person in our ‘neurospicy’ family, which includes our two daughters and six guinea pigs.

Everything turned upside down

When our eldest daughter was 11, our world imploded.

Anorexia nearly took her from us. The journey to recovery was overwhelming and terrifying. But we got there – thanks to incredible professional help and a family that refused to give up.

During that process, she was finally diagnosed with ADHD and autism (AuDHD).

That experience lit a fire in me. I needed to understand neurodiversity deeply – not just for my daughter but for everyone living with brains like ours. So I dove in. Training, studying, reading and learning everything I could.

That journey led me to here: a fully qualified Level 5 Life Coach and Mentor, specialising in ADHD and autism. And I'm not done learning. I'm committed to staying at the top of my game to keep making a real difference.

My approach:  I help people build lives based on how their brains work.

My clients are not broken. Each are beautifully wired in their own way. They deserve a life where  they feel calm, capable and confident.

That's my journey. Ready for yours? Let's begin.
